honeymoon advice for mexico?
My fiance and I are getting married in the beginning of September. I found a great deal for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Has anyone been there during this time of the year? I read that it is the summer but it is also the rainy season. If we went during this time would there be no sun? I have all of the info saved on my expedia account, I’m just doing some more research on the location before I book the reservations. Thanks for the help 
It should be fine. Rainy season doesn’t mean non-stop rain in a tropical climate. It just means there’s the potential for off/on rain. You’ll get plenty of sun. Also, on the water, I’ve been to Mexico more times than I can count, and you just need to take reasonable precautions. In large tourist areas, and especially at a large resort, you’ll be fine. Make sure you have bottled water for the hotel room (that was one of my mistakes – getting up in the middle of the night once and drinking a glass of water from the tap). And obviously, when you’re wandering the countryside, and end up in little taquerias, get soda or bottled water. Or cerveza! Anything but a glass handed to you with water in it.
