Honeymoon Destination!?
My soon to be husband and I are getting married in October but are not taking our Honeymoon till the first week of January. I need some ideas for where to go that isn’t that expensive. We don’t mind the cold but neither one of us can ski and it seems all the warmer places are a little expensive does anyone have any good romantic ideas???
Congratulations! My husband & I just got married too & we’re going on our honeymoon (or 1st vacation or whatever you want to call it) next month. He’s a cold lover, I’m more into warmer weather, but we live at 11,000 feet in the Colorado mountains, so we actually want to go to warmer spots for now. (Its snowing today, arg!) So we’re going to Vegas. They have cheap deals all the time, (I’ve been there before, my husband hasn’t). I think its the PERFECT honeymoon spot because there’s a billion things to do there, shows, food of all kinds, shopping, swimming, spas, movies, name it, you can do it in Vegas! (Neither of us gamble & it doesn’t matter because Vegas is a great place for everything).
We’re going to see a show (Probably Myster, one of the Cirque Du Sole shows) & Treasure Island (where the show is) offers deals all the time. Shows are expensive usually, BUT its worth it, they’re awesome! If you’re into seafood or fancy foods, all the hotels have great restaurants & seafood buffets! I’ve been there almost every month out of the year, it gets flippen cold in the winter, but it doesn’t snow (usually) & Vegas never changes, doesn’t matter if its 20 degrees or 120 degrees, its so much fun there! & you can do SO MUCH without spending any money! Like the main strips hotels, you can walk through just to see them, they have wild animals & jungle themes, they have so many art galleries (which we love) & even window shopping there is a blast! I suggest (for just walking around) Caesars Palace, The Venetian, New York New York, & The Rio. They’re just neat with great atmosphere! Oh, & the malls there are awesome too!
