Temporary or Imitation Henna?
I plan on having both Indian and American wedding ceremonies. I would like to do henna as part of one of the Indian ceremonies but i’m concerned about my pictures for the American ceremony which will follow the Indian one and also my honeymoon photos. I herd of using Brown Permanent marker to get the look of henna work which is a good Idea and i will take it in to consideration, although the Henna program also will be photographed and is traditionally done with the cones…I think a Sharpy might take a from the custom a bit. Does anyone have any ideas for a filler for the Henna cones that will give the hanna appearance? Something that will just look good for photos, and not necessarily for functional purposes like dying the skin. If there is something less temporary (preferably washable in a day) that dyes the skin I’m willing to look into that, but again it should mimic all henna aspects; color, consistency etc.
If you are just doing this for the fun of it , it is quite expensive to have a henna artist work for several hours just for photos.
They can use henna that is very old and won’t work hardly at all.
Sharpie’s are not good for you and will wipe off on your clothes.
I would ask the artist to use very old , poor henna so it won’t work.
