Trying to throw a cheap but nice wedding any suggestions?
My fiance and I are thinking about the summer of next year to get married. We are doing the wedding and reception at his mom’s house. And we have a cake topper but thats about it…lol I wanna have a nice wedding but we don’t have enough money in the bank to break so its gotta be somewhat on the cheap side. His parents said they would help out some but that’s about it. So I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for things to do to make it cheap but nice. I need advice for everything from invitations to the wedding dress and all the other clothing, to cheap honeymoon which shouldn’t be hard cause we live in Colorado so plently of beautiful options. Thank you!!!
OOH. Do an outdoor “garden” wedding. And do as much of it as you can yourself. You can do your own invitations and the like. You will save quite a bit as you put together elements of your wedding yourself.
You can make it look professional, too. Look for wedding stationery templates and look for “how-to” articles. Also, try for in-season “everything”. Always cheaper. Flowers in season, food in season.
