September Honeymoon Antigua, Aruba, other?
I will be going on my honeymoon the last week of September this year. We are looking for a more private resort with beautiful beaches and clear waters. I prefer the least amount of bugs. We like small bars no clubs or hard partying. We want to do some outdoor activities on the island but want to make sure that it is the environment we want. I understand that rain may play a part in both locations but was told that these islands do not get direct hits from hurricanes. We are open to other islands by suggestion. We prefer an all adult resort.
We have spent some time in the caribean and know what we DONT want (i.e. Jamaica was dirty and Cozumel was too “spring break”)
Please give any and all advise on a location, resort, things to do, friendliness of people, cleanliness of islands, safety, BUGS, etc
Since you plan on traveling during hurricane season, Aruba is your better destination.
