POPULAR CHEAP HONEYMOON DESTINATIONS

Honeymoon in Japan. Would like some suggestions.?
My fiancé and I would love to honeymoon in Japan for a week, but we are unsure of how to find good hotel prices and guides as far as transportation. I know my fiancé really wants to visit Tokyo and Akihabara, but I know staying in the big, popular city areas is more costly then staying at a cheaper hotel somewhere else, and taking the trains or taxis to our desired destinations. Also, has anyone been to Tokyo Disney Land and Sea? Is it worth it to try and squeeze a day or two at Disney AND try to see the sites of other places?
Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
tokyo disney is well worth your time. i’ve been there about 5 times total. go in the afternoon and stay for a few hours as they have a wonderful light and water show in the evening. the people that dress up as disney characters get ‘rock star’ treatment at the park. people swarm them for pictures and it is fun to see. also, while tokyo is certainly fun and there are lots of things to see, try to get away from it all and visit some of the mineral spas and absolutely gorgeous scenery on the island of hokkaido and the city of sapporo. unfortunately, japan is going to be fairly expensive regardless of where you go but well worth your time. i’m somewhat biased but i feel the japanese people are the most accomodating and polite people on the planet. have fun!
