If a UK citizen wants to marry a Canadian citizen….?
Does UK citizen have to remain in Canada until the paperwork is complete and leave to remain is granted? Say for example the married couple want to travel to the USA for a honeymoon or short break. Can they leave Canada while the process is going on?
If you have experienced this or are a lawyer for US or canada immigration please advise.
no.. you, or your partner can easily apply for a visa until your married.
