Plus size shipping in Italy?
Greetings,
After 7 years of marriage I will finally have my dream honeymoon. I am planning a trip to Italy in November 2010. Here are my questions:
1. Are there outlet shops for larger size women (size 22-24)
2. I heard there is a shoe store which will make custom shoes while you wait. Do you know of any?
3. Any suggestions on other hot shopping spots?

If you’re going to Milan, you can find a nice plus size store in Via Torino (Turin St.). The street rays out of the Piazza del Duomo right in the center. As you walk away from the Duomo (cathedral), it is on the left side of the street a few blocks down. This is conveniently the street you would find go to for shoes as well! It is a very concentrated section for shoe shopping! Although I don’t know of any places that make custom shoes while you wait, I know there’s at least one women’s artisan shoe shop right off this road.
Hope this helps! It’s a place filled with beautiful clothes, shoes, people, life and food. Enjoy and have fun! Via Montenapoleone is a great place to look though and enjoy all the high fashion and ideas. You could also check out La Rinascente, a gigantic and wonderful store in Piazza del Duomo.
