how the word honeymoon came? i mean honey and moon combined….?
In medieval times, people would celebrate a wedding with mead, a beer made with honey. It was customary to celebrate with this beer for one month, or the time it took for the moon to go through a full cycle. So, honey month, now honeymoon.
