HONEYMOON WASHINGTON COAST

looking for great honeymoon suggestions in washington?
my fiance and i are trying to figure out our honeymoon. we think we want to go to the west coast, perhaps washington state. we want to go somewhere where we can not only relax (some spa-like luxury) but also have fun doing outdoorsy things (hiking, biking, state parks…) and enjoy area attractions (museums, winerys, music…) does anyone have any suggestions? thanks so much!!
There are lots of great choices depending on your budget and personal preferences and the time of year you’ll be going on your honeymoon.
Here are some suggestions:
The first 3 are in Olympic National Park run by park concessionaires – not as luxurious as some other choices, but definitely historic and scenic with easy access to lots of outdoor activities in the national park. It can be extremely rainy -so rain gear is a must!
Kalaloch Lodge (not really a spa, but the location can’t be beat for scenic)
Lake Quinault Lodge (not really a spa either but beautiful historic lodge near the rainforests of Olympic National Park)
Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort – natural hot spring spa!
Some other more luxurious choices:
Skamamia Lodge – southwest Washington near Oregon
San Juan Islands – Rosario Resort on Orcas (is being renovated but may be reopened depending on your dates) or one of the resorts on San Juan Island
Sun Mountain Lodge – on the east side of the cascades and in a more remote location – colder in the winter and warmer and drier in the summer
Salish Lodge – also undergoing renovations – only about 45 minutes from Seattle
Breaking Dawn
