Wedding registry / gift ideas?
I’m wondering whether anyone has any great ideas for alternatives to gift registries or wishing wells for weddings. We more or less have everything we need so an actual registry in Myer or DJ’s would be a waste of time and my fiance is dead against asking for money. We’re considering a honeymoon registry with our travel agent, but he still sees this as asking for money. Is there an alternative? Help!
You could always request that your guests make a donation to a charity of your choice. Have a box with a sign representing the charity where they can put the money. I once saw a sweet sixteen that in order to get in you had to bring a toy to donate to toys for tots.
