Is it better to book a honeymoon through a travel agent, or simply do it myself on-line?

I plan on going to St. Lucia with my soon to be wife and stay at a Sandals Resort

You should at least go to a travel agent, since they will have a better ability to find out what is going on when you want to go, room rates, discounts, events on the island, etc…
Then you can check on-line for better rates.
But I would say go with te travel agent. They can deal with the headache, you will have enough to worry about!
