Where to honeymoon?
My fiancee and I are considering these places for our honeymoon and need to choose one: Washington DC, Salem, MA, and Gatlinburg, TN. The trip will be a weekend visit in May. We’re on a budget.
We like being in cities, but I also like the idea of having a cabin with a hot tub and pool table in Gatlinburg. What do you think?
Just to give you some insight into our personalities: we like museums a lot (as for DC, I was looking forward to the Folger Shakespeare Library). So, Williamsburg, DC, and Salem are being consider for their historical value.
Going to Gatlinburg seems out of character for me, but I like the idea of relaxing for a couple of days. I’m not sure what there is to do there though when we get tired of being couped up in a cabin.
