HONEYMOON TERM ORIGIN

Whats the origin of the term honeymoon?
it means “the sweetest time”
moon in the word honeymoon signifies “month” as most cultures calculate their months from moon phases.(their month begins with the first phase of moon till after 30 days with no moon,)and honey means sweetness.
just after marriage the couples experience increasing sweet love for each other- sweet like honey and steadily increasing like the phases of the moon so it is called honeymoon.
though it is an english word it is quite surprising that even in ancient language sanskrit there is mention of madhumaas which is litral translation of honeymoon.
there is another myth attached with the origin of this word.it is said that in some tribal cummunities in ancient asia/india couples right after marriage were blessed and gifted a pot of with honey and were sent alone to forest or hills to spend some time each other without disturbance from anyone.
so the term originated
