Renewal of vows… Does this sound romantic?
While my husband and I were on our honeymoon (in May), we booked a second vacation to another Sandals resort for our first anniversary.
Now, I thought of surprising him with a small renewal of vows.
It’s only $200, comes with a small renewal ceremony, bouquet, and a little cake. I thought it would be a romantic way of having our own little private ceremony in paradise. We wouldn’t do the big dress or anything else.
I know we’re supposed to eat the top of our wedding cake, but I figured the little cake from the resort would be tastier. And we wouldn’t have to figure out how to get the wedding cake to Jamaica!
Does this sound like a romantic idea for a first anniversary?
One of the reasons…due to family drama, we didn’t get to enjoy our wedding as much as we should. This would be our private little day to relive our moment…without the drama, haha!
My husband and I renewed our vows in Jamaica on our first anniversary. My husband actually planned it and surprised me with it.
Our wedding was for our family. Our vow renewal was just for us.
