honeymoon money?

I am a maid of honor in my friends wedding. They have been together for a long time and have no need for things in their house. I need to know how to word this in a bridal shower invitation and suggest that guests put money towards their honeymoon. There will also be a simple registry for guests who may not want to give cash. I am not asking if this is improper ettiquette just asking for ideas on poems or other ways to word this.
I did not ask for peoples permission or opinions on whether it is improper. i know that the bride and grooms family and friends will not be offended, many of them have already discussed this option with me. i just want a cute way of stating this request in the bridal shower invitation….not the wedding invitation. if you do not have a creative way of stating this, then please do not reply its not neccesary or useful.

we are rude and not funny
don’t give us gifts we want money

or

we have no class……give us cash
