Planning honeymoon in Hawaii….. help!?

I am planning to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon in May for 3 days. Could some one please advice which would be the best island to go to?
What would be cheapest way to book flight-hotel Etc. I am on a tight budget. Also, if some one could recommend decent – less costly hotels that would be great.
What activities do you recommend.
I am flying from San Diego, CA.

Congrats on your marriage. What is the best island to go to for an honeymoon? It all depends on what you like to do. Oahu is the most developed island with the big city life with all of the latest restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and all the other stuff. It always offers a big slice of country on the North and East Shore. The other islands don’t offer much on the city life but offer a little bit more on the nature stuff of not having the big city life. So if you like the city life with some country mixed in then Oahu is for the both of you if you are going strictly for country then Kauai, Maui or the Big Island is the place to go.
