HONEYMOON QUEBEC CITY
Toronto / Niagara Falls ON or Quebec for honeymoon?
Is this worth-while? We are coming from around NYC and it’s about a 9 hour drive, or we could take the train to Buffalo, NY and drive the 2 or so hours. My sister is letting us use her timeshare, which is wonderful! But we don’t want to fly, nor do we want to drive forever. We are getting married in June 2010 and are not sure how much time we will have off from work. So we are trying to come up with “9-days off” possibilities. The places her time share can let us be is Calabogie, Georgian Bay and Muskoka in Ontario. There also a a couple of resorts in Mont-Tremblant or Quebec City in Quebec. Figured I would ask to people who live in Canada as to their personal feelings on these areas, because we are looking for to take a real honeymoon. This is it, it’s not going to be a mini-moon and then we are going to the Caribbean. This is it. So is this area of Canada a worthwhile honeymoon spot? If so, what is there to do there? And if not, please let me know that too.

I would say Quebec City, especially in the winter, you can go for a horse carrige ride on the cobble stone streets, there’s French people speaking everywhere, cafe’s that french music playing in the background, i would definatly go to Quebec city, its much more romantic for a honeymoon.
