how do i skip my period for my honeymoon?

i am getting married on saturday and i am supposed to start my period next week, but i will be in cancun on my honeymoon? i am currently on birth control and was wondering if i can somehow take my pills in a different order so i can delay my period?

YEP! You sure can! My OB/GYN even OFFERED it when I was getting married.

Simply skip the “period” week of pills and go to your next pack of pills. Take that full week of pills then go BACK to the “period” pills from you previous pack. You should get your period on Monday or Tuesday, usually without fail!

You may get a heavier period or experience more PMS symptoms, but it’s worth it!
