HONEYMOON ONTARIO
Looking for a place for a 2 night getaway for short honeymoon in Ontario? Not Niagara Falls..any ideas?
Go with Stratford, Ontario! It’s sooo beautiful and has lots of antique British, Scottish shops, native artifact stores.
The town is on two altitude levels. The bottom part is suburban on a beautiful lake where you can go canoeing. The top is like a virtual remake of the English town of Stratford.
Day 1: You should go there for the morning, then visit London, Ontario, then visit Uncle Tom’s Cabin historic site in Dresden, Ontario. Then Drive down to St. Thomas, Ontario and see the railway museum, if you have any time left. Stay in St. Thomas.
Day 2: Walk the Elgin County trail and then drive to Kingsville and take the Ferry to Point Pelee. Spend the next day relaxing in the wineries there. Stay there overnight.
Day 3: Perhaps end with the Windsor, Ontario art gallery and famous cottages and stuff.
