When is the best time to snow in the North Carolina’s mountains?

I’m going to NC in two weeks with my wife to pursue a master for 2 years, and we want to go for our honeymoon to ski. When is the best time of the year to go skiing in the NC mountains?

Never….skiing in NC is a waste of time and a sure way to destroy a good pair of skis. Man-made snow and ice yuk! Make the short drive to Davis Va they get some natural snow and less of the up and down temps. that turn man-made snow into a ski-base grinder
