HONEYMOON NEW ORLEANS HOTEL

In the 1960s there was a hotel in New Orleans called The Fontainebleau. Is it still there?
My parents stayed there for part of their honeymoon and I promised Mom I would look it up while we’re here.
Sorry, but it closed around 1990 and the building is now a mini-storage facility.
The Foutainbleu was at the corner of Tulane Avenue and S. Carrollton Avenue. In its day (including during the 1960s), the Fountainbleu was one of the city’s premier hotels.
