HONEYMOON KITCHEN SETS
Asking for Money instead of gifts?
This question was inspired by Bellas question posted a little earlier 
I understand that some people find it tacky to ask for money instead of gifts and while I don’t agree I respect your right to have that opinion. But what if you truly dont NEED or want everything? My man and I had both been single for several years before we got together, he owns property, we have enough stuff to set up a kitchen twice over and a linen press FULL to bursting of towels and sheets (I literally mean bursting!). We are both well travelled and wont be going on a honeymoon, just a long weekend at a B and B together . Sure theres stuff we’d LIKE but its all expensive stuff and I don’t want to ask my guests for the $4000 sofa that We’ve been eyeing off at our local homewares store. I am about to have the same dilemma as Bella now has, so what can I do?
Graciously accept any gift that you receive. if it is something that you have no use for donate it to a local women’s shelter or another worthy organization.If someone ask what you want then tell them money.Explain to them that you have no need or desire for traditional gifts and your plans to donate the gifts . Receiving feels good but giving back feels even better.
