Where can I buy an item that has been discontinued?
My sister fell in love with a satchel bag that is categorized as a “closeout item” and I can’t seem to find it on sale anywhere. I’d really like to give this to her for her honeymoon trip. The item is a Kathy Van Zeeland luggage satchel :”Catwalk Leopard Print 17″ Satchel Bag CLOSEOUT” does anyone know where I can purchase it??
Your best chance is to check with liquidators or surplus dealers. These people buy anything which is left over from a particular line, or a discontinued line.
They usually sell it significantly cheaper than the original price.
Simply search the net for any liquidation of the specific item.
If it didn’t work, try contacting places that used to carry the item and ask them where can you find it. In many instances, they ship the goods to an outlet or a liquidator and can refer you further.
