HONEYMOON GUEST HOUSE
How can we make our “house guests” feel welcome?
My hubby and I are going to have some “house guests” stay with us for the first two weeks in December. We attend the same university and they needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks after their honeymoon and before they can move into their apartment. We’re excited to have them and want to ensure they feel comfortable and welcome in our home. What are some things we can do to help them feel comfortable and not like they have to be inconspicuous?
We already know not to let our toddler scream bloody murder in the middle of the night next to their bedroom and we’re on top of that. What are some other things we can do?
Make sure that their door has a lock on it so that your baby doesn’t walk in on them. Make sure that they know that they can use the shower whenever they need, they know where the towels are and they know that they can eat whatever they want when they want…within reason of course.
Just treat them like they were family, they should know that a toddler is going to be a toddler no matter who is there and that he/she won’t change his/her habits just because a couple other people are there.
