Is there a way to get pregnant the very first time you have sex?
I am a very modest woman and I don’t think sex should be used for pleasure, but mostly for reproduction. I am 22 years of age, and I am getting married in less than a month. I am still a virgin, of corse. I am wondering though, can I lose my virginity and get pregnant at the same time? I am planning on having intercourse on my honeymoon, which will occour on what I think my peak fertility days are.
Ha ha, I’ve juststarted researching this today. I’ve never been interested in learning before now. Is there anything that I can do to increase my chances?
You can very well get pregnant when losing your virginity. My sister in law’s friend was a virgin until her wedding day, and she never had her period after their honeymoon, so she got pregnant that very same month! Having your hymen in tact does not affect your ability to ovulate, you’ve been ovulating since you first got your period, and ovulating is what it takes to get prego!

Oh I also just wanted to give you a little advice on the “sex for reproduction” bit you mentioned. First of all, I respect your choice for abstaining to premarital sex, its a hard thing to do these days from all the pressure. However, the health of your marriage could be jeopardized, unless your fiance feels the same way about it, which is unlikely (since he’s a man). Sex for pleasure is perfectly acceptable, between a man and his wife or a serious monotonous couple. Please, if you dont want to use sex as a pleasure tool (and you might change your mind once you experience it) at least do it for your future husband. I know its not my business but, you’ve opened the door for advice. Adultery is never a good thing. take care!
