HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE STORY

Go right away, or wait for low season?
I’m just curious (from anyone who has had experience or heard of stories of this). Assuming the newlyweds plan to go on a honeymoon somewhere, when would be the best time to go? Right after to a few days after the wedding, or waiting a much longer time for other reasons (ie. low season therefore keeping costs down, easier to schedule in honeymoon time, etc).
I would definitely do something right after the wedding, even if it is just a little getaway. Everyone will be around after the wedding and it will be such a let down for you if you just go home and go back to real life. Even if you want to save your money for a big trip a little later on, consider taking the following week off and telling everyone you will be gone and then planning day trips into the city you are from and do the sightseeing stuff, maybe even stay at a hotel for a couple of nights that might have a pool or some other luxuries that you don’t have at your own home. But definitely give yourself some type of break after the wedding!
