honeymoon ideas, cheep but fun?

living in syd Australia, haven’t been outside the country before..I only speak English and would like to go somewhere i can speak the language because its safer.. My husband to be is thinking about hawaii.. he would also like to go to india (with a guide) We’re tyring to keep a low budget.. wedding will be in january!
can anyone share their expereices of holidays they have been on? or give recommendations?

Go to Hawaii. Enjoy the beaches and the blue water. At that time of the year the weather will be great.
