cheap honeymoon ideas near atlanta, ga?
im going on my honeymoon in june and our funds are very limited. i was thinking a night or two at a bed and breakfast or something. i just need something cheap and simple, but something that is appropriate for newlyweds
When I got married, we rented a cabin at some inexpensive resort for two nights. It was somewhere about 20 minutes or so from Helen. (Sorry, I don’t recall where; I just googled things and came up with this place, which we booked sight unseen.) It worked out nicely. The cabin afforded a lot of privacy. During the day we went walking, rowing and horseback riding. (Unfortunately, the only pool was outside and it was too cold to swim.) One night we cooked in, the second we spotted a gourmet place in the middle of nowhere — which was great!
I’m generally not a big fan of b&bs — especially on a honeymoon since there’s not very much privacy.
