What should I do for my fiance’s 30th, which falls during the planning of our wedding?
Hello all,
I am getting married April 2011, and we are doing a lot of saving and budgeting. Well my fiance’s 30th birthday is falling in between this planning during August of 2010. He wants a really nice b’day. He is very unselfish, but feels that he will only turn 30 once.
Now I would normally be like, let’s wait until after the wedding to do something big. The problem is my b’day is the exact week after the wedding and we will likely be on my honeymoon during my b’day. So I don’t want to be selfish and not do something for him. However, I will be turning 29 and not the big 3-0.
Please help.. what is something that we could do? He loves VEGAS.. but is going there for bachelor party. We like traveling. We live in the Atlanta area. We like to party and have fun.
just throw him a party at home where you live. regular or surprise. if he’s traveling for his bachelor party AND honeymoon, don’t spend more money on another bday trip. plus then his family & friends wouldn’t be around to celebrate with him.
