Affordable anniversary vacation?

My hubby and I are looking to go on a short trip, Friday-Monday, for our one year anniversary, this July. The only issue for us is cost. We honeymooned in the Dominican Rep., which was amazing, but we can’t afford another trip like that right away. He is in grad school, and I just graduated, so we are on quite a tight budget. Can anyone reccomend a fun, yet affordable place to spend our weekend? Ideally somewhere near a beach? Thanks

I don’t know where you live, but here are some options. A bed and breakfast is a cheaper option than a resort, and often it feels homier. Plus, with less of the budget going towards shelter, you can spend more money on activities.
