Free flight upgrade while on honeymoon?

My husband and I are going on our honeymoon to Fiji on Air Pacific and we have heard that sometimes airlines will upgrade honeymooners to business class if the space is available. What are the chance of this happening? Do you have any helpful hints or tips to increase our chances?
We are going to a little private island called Qamea.

Just let the gate agent know that you’re on a honeymoon. The persons standing at the gate fiddling with papers about 30 min before boarding. No guarantee of course, but if you’re lucky maybe

If you don’t get upgraded, let the crew know that you’re on a honeymoon and you might get some extra treats.
