HONEYMOON AFFILIATE

Carnival Cruise Ship from Mobile, AL shore excursions..?
My fiance’ and I are going to cruise the western caribbean for our honeymoon in May 2010. I was looking online and saw where you can purchase a day pass to an all-inclusive adult-only resort for lunch, drinks, laying out, etc. Should I trust booking the excursion through a company that is NOT affiliated with Carnival????
That type of excursion will usually be more expensive than if you booked it on your own, or if you just get a cab to a beach and buy your own lunch, etc. However, if you go on your own you MUST be sure and leave ample time to get back to the ship, especially in a tendered port, as the ship will not wait for you if you’re late unless you’re on one of their excursions. Be sure and take the part of the daily activity sheet that lists the shore agent for the ship, just in case.
For great, current info on excursions in all your ports, go to CruiseCritic.com, click on “Boards”, then go to “Ports of Call”. Some ports are easier and safer to do on your own than others, and this resource will give you details about that.
