FUN HONEYMOON BASKETS
has anyone surprised newlyweds by stocking their fridge while they are on their honeymoon?
My idea is to put sparkling wine in the fridge, a gift basket on the kitchen counter with some goodies(coffee, biscotti, choclates, etc) and fresh flowers on the table as a “Welcome Home” to the newly married couple. I thought it would also be fun to put a sign on their door “Just Married” or “NewlyWeds Only”. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.
It’s a great idea! However, if I was coming back after a trip, I’d be SOOO much more appreciative if there were some ready-to-bake meals in the freezer or something else that you can easily make into a meal. You may be pretty wiped after the trip and too busy to go grocery shopping right away. This is especially appropriate if the couple has kids!
Also, real food is so much more useful, especially because there will be tons of new stuff in the house. Also, what if the flowers wilt before they get back? There could be delays in travel.
