COLORADO HONEYMOON OCTOBER

Is October a good time to visit Colorado?
We’re going for our honeymoon, and we want to ski. I’ve never been before, and don’t know what to expect for the seasons there. Also, suggestions for good cabins and/or other lodging options would be great! Thanks.
As others have said, October is usually the best time to be here. Fewer tourists, usually good weather, a bit cool, and a small chance of a snowstorm.
For a honeymoon.
Estes Park is beautiful and relatively uncrowded that time of year. Romantic Riversong is a Bed & Breakfast in the country there.

For a big deal celebration, Aspen is nice, but expensive. I like the moderately priced and charming Hotel Durant. Breckenridge is similar, but a little cheaper.

If you really want a cabin, get this book. It lists places I’ve seen nowhere else.
