In my opinion, the best Honeymoon Destination period is the Walt Disney World Resort. I actually went there for my honeymoon in March of 2010 and it was the time of my life. Unlike my husband, I am a Disney fanatic; So I knew I would have the time of my life but I pushed for Disney because I knew I could show Jason, (My husband) a different side of it that he has never experienced before.
I planned the entire honeymoon, made reservations, made special arrangements, and so on for months which was exciting enough for me. Jason knew how important it was to me so he went along…until we go there.
He had a better time than I did! The total cost of our honeymoon was $2,523. This is NOTHING for all the things we got to do and experience. We stayed in Bay Lake Tower of the Contemporary Resort, a deluxe hotel with absolutely beautiful accomodations and newly rennovated rooms; we booked the Deluxe Dining plan which allowed us to eat at every restaurant we searched including two of the best restaurants we have ever been to; we were able to have our own private boat ride from our hotel to one of the dining locations at night which was absolutely beautiful-and we also got the opportunity to share on our reservation that we were on our honeymoon. Because of this, we got special perks all over the resort from little surprises through the park, (Fast Passes that lasted the entire day) to gifts sent to our room compliments of the hotel, (A bride and groom, Mickey/Minnie snow globe, champange and chocolate covered strawberries).
It was truely romantic but at the same time it brought the kid out in both of us!
