Where to go for honeymoon… cheap outside the US?
My fiancé and I are getting married Aug. 1st. We’ve been looking at honeymoon spots for a very long time. We originally wanted to go to Scotland but couldn’t afford it as I’m a college student and we’re buying a house. I would like to get outside the country, I’m 20 he’s 25. Neither of us are fluent in any other language all though we both know bits and pieces of two different languages. We found a good all inclusive package for Cancun but I’m scared of a language barrier. With it being a travel hot spot for tourists would most of the people know at least enough English to communicate with us?
We’d like an all inclusive package because they’re normally cheaper. Please help, thank you so very much. Links would be great.
Cancun would be fine. Plenty of English speaking tourists there so they pretty much know English in the service industry. I liked it there and there’s enough stuff to do off-resort. Go see some ruins or go to an eco-park like Xcaret. Very cool!
Most places that have a strong tourist industry will have good English-speaking employees. Go have fun, and congrats on your marriage.
