Best honeymoon destinations?

Getting married in April next year (2010) Have never been out of Australia, so am looking for somewhere that’s a bit different culture. Also, not too expensive. I am not interested in going to Thailand, but am open to any other suggestions. After something with beautiful beaches, but something else to do there other than the beach. Was thinking Hawaii, but cannot find much info on what’s there? Is it cheap(ish)?

Cheap? They get everything from the mainland like food, cost more there than the mainland.
