Any suggestions for the perfect honeymoon resort?

Hi!
My fiancé and I are getting married in mid-September and are trying to plan our honeymoon. We love the resorts in the Maldives (particularly the W hotel). But it seems like September may not be the best time to go to the Maldives . We are now looking into alternatives but nothing seems to be as perfect as the resorts in the Maldives! I am considering postponing the honeymoon till about December as it is seems like a better time to go but not too keen… Any thoughts? Suggestions? Should we wait for the perfect place or try to find somewhere you can go to in mid-sep? if so, any ideas where to? Thanks!
