Honeymoon in Montana/Wyoming/Utah area…where are the best places to stay and things do?
My fiance and I are thinking about checking out a bunch of different national parks on our honeymoon. We have heard that Glacier in Montana is BEAUTIFUL. We would also like to see Yellowstone and maybe Grand Teton. Has anyone done something similar? Or does anyone have any good suggestions on where to go or stay that is inexpensive yet charming and romantic? Or anywhere that offers really good honeymoon deals or packages? THANKS!
we are doing Tetons and Yellowstone for our Honeymoon. We are doing a scenic/whitewater rafting combo through Lewis and Clark, we are staying in Lava Hot Springs at a nice little (affordable!) B&B one night, we are camping in the Tetons to cut down on hotel costs, and we are doing some Yellowstone tours.
Devils Tower is an interesting hike, but thats on the side of wyoming furthest from Jackson Hole.
Bear Lake in Utah is really fun for waverunning, fishing, boating, even just laying on the beach.
Yellowstone Lodge is a nice place to stay but can get pricey.
We found our B&B on bedandbreakfast.com, you can search all the ones in the area you are going to be staying in and find one within your price range.
ETA: I forgot to add Thermopolis Wyoming. Its a nice little hot springs waterpark. Its not big or fancy but clean and fun.
