Where is the best place to honeymoon in Central America, Mexico, or the Carribean?
My husband I just went on our honeymoon (July 1, 2006) to the Eastern Caribbean. We went on a carnival cruise out of Miami Florida, that went to… San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Martin. A cruise is definately the way to go! It seems like a lot at first, money wise, however the price includes everything!! airfare to the boat, a bus ride from the airport to the boat and back, all your food, and tons of activities. It is good to have extra money as for buying things and doing shore excursions, but it is not necessary. We went on an 8 day cruise and it was about 2,900$ for the two of us and we went from New York to Miami on the plane.. So it would be alot cheaper if you were living near a port and did not need airfare. It was great.. So beautiful. Go to www.carnival.com and you can click on all of their destinations.. If a cruise is not your thing, then the nicest of the islands we stoped at, I think, was St. Marten. It was pretty, but alot cleaner and “safer” than the other two. Good luck.. . And spoil yourselves, it is only going to happen once, right??
