BEST FLORIDA HONEYMOON BEACHES

Wedding in hawaii & Honey moon in florida/new york/cruise. help please. 10 points!!!!!?
So we have been saving for our dream wedding for years now and plan to marry in the next three years. For our wedding we want to get married on a beach in hawaii and stay there for about a week. Only family is coming and they are willing to pay for themselves. For our honeymoon we wanted to stay in florida for 3-4 days and then travel to new york and stay there for 3-4 days. Our budget is about £10,000.
Do you think we will be able to do all this and go to the attraction etc with this price range?
Also does anybody know if it is possible to get a cruise from hawaii to florida and then to new york?
If any travel agents are on here, please help me with organising it. I’ve done my research but if anyone can help me with anything please just say or send a link. Many thanks and 10 points to the best answer.
As far as the cruise is concerned, there are no cruises that go from Hawaii to Florida. It simply isn’t done (there are multiple reasons, most include travel requirements, where the ship’s registry is, etc). Also that’d be a lengthy cruise!
You could, however, do a Hawaii to Los Angeles cruise, and it is possible to get a repositioning cruise that goes from Los Angeles to Miami; however these are very rare (may only happen once or twice a year for a specific cruise line). The possibility of booking back to back cruises from Hawaii to L.A, then L.A. to Miami will be extremely difficult considering the rarity of the second itinerary. Cruises that sail to New York are those simply traveling round-trip in most cases; New York to Bermuda is a typical itinerary.
Since you’re still planning in advance (3yrs or so, as you mentioned), bear in mind that flights can typically not be booked any more than 9 months in advance on average (airline dependent). Cruises can go further out, sometimes up to 4yrs in advance.
My suggestion is to make a list of the things you want to do/see and weigh your options.. hammer out some ‘must-have’ details and work your way up from there; of course keeping a little flexibility for flight times/dates, etc. Don’t schedule yourself too tightly! Are these places that you’ve just always wanted to visit, or is there something that you’ve both planned on seeing, without fail?
Keep in mind some crucial things, such as:
*Hawaii has its expensive times of year for travel, just like any other major travel destination.
*Food there is quite pricey as anything not grown/fished there has to be flown in from the mainland.
*The flight travel time (plus the time zone differences) from Hawaii to Florida would be lengthy and would take up a full travel day in most cases, so if you will be time restricted try to keep that in mind.
*Be sure to research the average daily temperatures for the areas you plan on visiting. Hawaii is lovely and temperate, but water temps on different sides of the islands can fluctuate greatly.
Cruises are an awesome option.. you get the scenery, the food, and the traveling and a bit of entertainment for one price. But, you would have to commit to one cruise. (I am a little biased on cruises, I love them!)
I recommend www.tripadvisor.com for reviews and helpful hints on any local places you may want to visit. I hope this helps some; feel free to get in touch with me if you’d like any additional help with planning.. I love to help plan travel especially since I can’t afford to do much traveling right now, myself!
Best wishes to you both!
